Continuing Your Adventure . . .

You're not far from becoming a PADI Open Water Diver . . . or maybe recently certified . . . or maybe inside the threshold of diving, looking at all the adventure diving has to offer . . . Now What?

Maybe it's time you think about it.  It's such a loss when a diver becomes certified and then . . . and then . . . and then nothing.  No adventure.  No challenge.  It's like someone hands the diver a new world and not knowing what to do with it, the diver says, "No thank you", and walks away.

Surely you didn't take the time and effort to earn your certification just so you can say, "been there, done that, got the t-shirt".  But you may not know where to go, or what to do with this new world at your grasp.  So let's look at what you need to do now so that when you look back in a year, or five, or ten, you won't look back on " . . . and then nothing".  You need to: 1. Meet people, 2. Go places and 3. Do things!!!

Emergency First Responder

Want to be ready in an emergency? Then this program is for you! The PADI Emergency First Responder® Course covers basic training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. In addition, it’s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments following national consensus guidelines.

The program is designed for divers and nondivers, and also meets the CPR and first aid prerequisite for earning your PADI Advanced Plus rating and PADI Rescue Diver.

So if you’re seeking CPR/first aid training to meet a diving program requirement or for personal enhancement, this program is for you.

Getting started couldn't be easier.  Our classes are typically scheduled monthly.  Just call 317-897-2822 and we'll enroll you by phone or stop by the shop and speak to a Scuba Professional.

Equipment Specialist

Want to learn more about how your equipment operates and learn valuable care techniques from a dive professional? Then check into the PADI Equipment Specialist program. You’ll need to be at least a PADI Scuba Diver (PADI Junior Scuba Diver or equivalent) and be 12 or older.

During your PADI Equipment Specialist program, you'll familiarize yourself with the operation and maintenance of your own personal equipment. You may also be given the opportunity by your instructor to review new or unfamiliar dive equipment.

The program is not designed to be an extensive equipment-repair program, however, it does provide you with the following:

  • Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment.
  • Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage.
  • Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures. (May include a demonstration of repair procedures.)
  • Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment. (Optional trying of new or unfamiliar equipment in confined water may be included.)
